Nocturne Opening Reception

Nocturne: Posthuman Dreams, Myths, and the Invisible marks the Buenos Aires debut of Mnemosyne Projects, an emerging international curatorial platform founded on the Greek island of Hydra. Opening during Arteba at Little Red Door Club, the exhibition reconsiders Argentina’s surrealist artistic legacy from the unstable terrain of the contemporary world, displacing the human as its privileged subject and tracing agency across bodies, technologies, ecologies, matter, other forms of life, and invisible forces.

Curator: Ekaterina Juskowski
Curatorial Assistant: Carolina Kleine Samson

Featured Artists: Roberto Aizenberg, Joaquín Aras, Valentín Asprella Lozano, Jonathan Barberi, Juan Batlle Planas, Nicola Costantino, Corcho, Juan de Dios Mena, Max Gómez Canle, Luisita Photo Studio, Jorge Macchi, Alejo Musich, Maximiliano Ocampo Salinas, Andrés Piña, Francisca Rey

Original soundscape by Jesse Alexander Kotansky
