Jonathan Barberi (b. Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a photographer and visual artist whose practice explores the intersections of material memory, territory, and the climate crisis.

A graduate of the Municipal Institute of Photographic Art and Audiovisual Techniques (IMDAFTA), he holds a diploma in Art Archive Management and Conservation from the National University of San Martín (UNSAM), where he is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Image and Photographic Archive Studies.

His work is articulated through pictorialist visual essays and environmentally sustainable analog methodologies, forming an ongoing line of research into the socio-environmental challenges of the Anthropocene. Through photography, archives, and alternative processes, Barberi examines the relationship between landscape, collective memory, and ecological transformation.

His work and research have been presented internationally on climate activism platforms, including COP30 (Brazil), and at leading contemporary photography festivals and exhibitions such as the Tiradentes Photography Festival (Novas Ecologias, Brazil), Off Arles (France), FICHA Fest (Chile), and the Open Studios of Par en Park (Buenos Aires). His projects have also been featured in international publications focused on water culture, ecology, and sustainability, while his portfolio and artistic practice have been highlighted by media outlets including Sublime Magazine (London) and Neritic Media (United States).
