The Story of the Object
Presented as part of the Marble Riddles exhibition, this newly commissioned marble piece engages in a dialogue between minerality and mystery. By treating stone as a canvas, Esteban Fuentes de María explores the dualities inherent in marble: its historical significance and its resonance in contemporary artistic practice. The work conjures a space where antiquity and innovation converge, inviting contemplation on time, transformation, and material memory.
