“MARBLE RIDDLES” EXHIBITION

During the Open House week, from June 22 to June 27, 2025 Mnemosyne Projects will unveil Marble Riddles, an art exhibition featuring the evocative works of two artists Holly Biörklund and Esteban Fuentes de Maria. Curated by Tatiana Gecmen-Waldek, the exhibition will present newly commissioned marble pieces, each engaging in a dialogue between materiality and mystery. The exhibition will explore the inherent dualities of marble, its historical weight and contemporary resonance, inviting viewers into a space where stone becomes a canvas for riddles both ancient and new.

This year's Open House at the Old Carpet Factory is created by Stephan Colloredo-Mansfeld, Josh Hickey and Ekaterina Juskowski.

LIVE PAINTING PERFORMANCE

A special live painting performance by Esteban Fuentes de Maria will take place on Wednesday, June 25 at 7:00pm in the garden of the Old Carpet Factory.

MNEMOSYNE CLUB X RAFAEL INDIANA

On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, Mnemosyne Club x Rafael Indiana will present an evening of conversation and craftsmanship, featuring Rafael Cemo Çetin, an Istanbul-based artisan and the visionary founder of Rafael Indiana. During the talk, Çetin will reflect on his journey as a designer and craftsman, sharing insights into the creative process behind his jewelry, which he meticulously produces in Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar. Having spent years honing his craft there, he has embraced the title of esnaf—a term signifying a local artisan deeply rooted in the traditions and community of their trade.
