PROJECT
MNHMH 01: The Warp of Time site-specific exhibition at the Old Carpet Factory historical mansion on the island of Hydra.
STORY
Mnemosyne Projects and Art Rug Projects by Soutzoglou invited Helen Marden to explore carpet as a medium, especially for this exhibition. Inspired by memories of Hydra Island, Marden's intuitive watercolors were transformed into hand-made carpets by Soutzoglou's expert artisans. This unique collaboration fused traditional craftsmanship with contemporary artistic vision, creating a dialogue between past and present.
